IMPORTANT: There are two possible firmware options for this vehicle.
Option 1: TL15 with no takeover
Option 2: TL19 with takeover
WARNING: Due to a unique encrypted door lock synchronization system in this vehicle, the factory locking system and aftermarket locking system can become desynchronized.
To avoid any issues, we highly recommend using the OEM remote or door handle to lock and unlock the vehicle. Failure to do so may result in needing to hold the OEM remote up to the Push-To-Start button to start the vehicle. To ensure a smooth experience, we highly recommend utilizing a 1-button remote (solely for remote start purposes) when an aftermarket remote or SmartStart is desired for additional range.
Essential: Please ensure that you print and provide the client with the Quick Reference Guide (QRG). The QRG contains vital information and instructions pertaining to this matter.
